Please use the following guidelines in order
to get the desired results using the Traffic search.
In order to search by name, you must enter a name or partial name
in the "Defendant's Name" field. The search will automatically put a
wild card at the end of your entry and begin looking for a name that begins with the text you entered
in this field. An example on how to enter a name is as follows:
(Smiley John), (Smil) or (Smiley J)
Use the "Offense Date From" and "Offense Date To" fields as a
filter to narrow your search results. As you type in the date, it will automatically insert the "/" for you.
The search will also look for anything you've entered in the "Case Year" field and "Case Sequence" field.
If you know the uniform case number, you can search for that case
by entering the EXACT uniform case number in the "Uniform Case Number" field.
You can also look up Traffic information by entering the "Citation Number".
This is an exact search, meaning you'll have to know the exact Citation Number to perform this search.
