General Information
The Domestic Relations Department is located within the Clerk of Courts office on the 2nd floor of the Hernando County Courthouse, Judicial Center, 20 N. Main Street Room 246, Brooksville, FL 34601. The telephone number is (352) 540-6336. Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Domestic Relations Department handles the filing of child support, juvenile dependency, injunctions for protection, name changes, and all other cases subject to the Florida Family matters such as dissolution, child support, paternity, and adoption.
Effective July 1, 2003:A mandatory $50.00 filing fee will be charged pursuant to F.S. 28.241 on any civil action, suit or proceeding in the circuit court that is reopened.
